WHO ARE WE?

Hear Art

Hear Art is a non-profit platform founded by Cindy Sasha (photographer and activist) and Academy-Award winner Rachel Shenton (actress, writer and activist) to fund and mentor deaf filmmakers.

Hear Art funds and mentors deaf filmmakers, providing a space in which deaf creatives can work alongside mainstream hearing talent.  Our projects demonstrate how much richer our artistic landscape is when artists work together supporting inclusivity and accessibility.

Hear Art challenges communication in front and behind the lens and starts conversations about employment and opportunities in the Arts and media industry.
